Shipping

We will work to get orders out within 48 hours.

Because Canada Post gets busy around some holidays, and sometimes we may take an extra day off around some long weekends, shipping may get delayed by 24 hours. If we are going to be on holidays or are away at a quilt show or an event, we will let you know that your order may be delayed.  We value your business and we will always do our best to get your order out as quickly possible.

Sometimes our orders get delayed coming to us so we can't send your order out to you.  If your order is going to be delayed, we will let you know as soon as we can.

Special order items or large quantity orders may take up to 3 weeks, depending on where our order is coming to us from.  We will get in touch with you as soon as we have an anticipated delivery date, and we will let you know before we ship your order so that you have an expected arrival date.

We charge flat rates for shipping. 

Thread will not fit through Canada Post's plastic slot that envelopes need to fit through to be classified as letter mail, so thread has to be shipped as a parcel (sorry).  If you have ordered thread and have selected letter mail, we will contact you to let you know what the shipping charge will be and verify that you still would like us to send your order to you.

Canada:

Small Packet Standard Shipping $6.95, (about 2 meters of fabric, 8 fat quarters, or most patterns).  Envelopes cannot measure more than 2 cm thick.  Tracking will not be provided.

$200.01 and up - Free Shipping Tracking Provided

Pick Up -  Please contact with us via email, text, phone or notes on your order to arrange a pick up/delivery details.

Would you like your package delivered quickly? 

We can expedite it.  Drop us an email sales@kaleidoscopequiltcompany.ca  We can work out the additional charge for 2 business day delivery.

 

We can add tracking if you'd like.  

We can add tracking, but there will be an additional charge.  Please contact us at sales@kaleidoscopequiltcompany.ca and we can work it out.

Pick up my order option:

If you live in Mill Bay or plan to be in the area, I can deliver your order to you.  If you are live on Vancouver Island or will be on the Island, you can arrange a pick up instead to save the shipping.  Select the "Pick up by Appointment" option.  Please contact us by email, phone, text or message us on Facebook and we can book a time.

Lost, Stolen, Late & Damaged Packages

We cannot be responsible for lost, stolen, late or damaged packages, but we will do our best to do what we can to help.  We will mark your packages "Do not safe drop" but we can't guarantee that Canada Post will not leave your packages at the door.  If you think your package is missing, or if something has been damaged in shipping, please contact us at sales@kaleidoscopequiltcompany.ca 

 

Returns

If something is not right with your order please let us know. We do our best to get things right, but mistakes do happen.  Unfortunately, we can't accept returns on cut fabric unless it's flawed.  We do inspect every bolt when it comes in and double check each piece as we cut it to verify that it is not flawed.  We unbolt panels and cut as straight as possible so you won't get a wonky panel.

We are sorry, we cannot refund books or patterns.

If you feel that there is a problem, please send us by email sales@kaleidoscopequiltcompany.ca  within 5 days of receiving your order.

Taxes

We have to charge taxes on orders sent within Canada. The amount will be calculated when you place your order, based on BC tax laws.

Orders sent to the United States or sent internationally are not charged tax.
